POSITION: Outside Plant Operations – Right of Way Agent
The Right of Way Agent is responsible for ensuring all facilities are legally placed and protected through accurate rights-of-way and permits. This includes creating legal descriptions, preparing drawings, acquiring new easements, submitting applications for government permits, and reviewing easements and permits with property owners and relevant jurisdictional agencies. The role requires prompt and orderly execution and recording of all documents. Performing duties under general supervision, the Right of Way Agent must apply specialized training, experience, and knowledge, exercising discretion and independent judgment on behalf of the Engineering Department and the Company when investigating, gathering, and summarizing information. Access to highly sensitive documents, materials, and conversations requires strict confidentiality.
