POSITION: Right-of-Way Agent
Sierra Telephone is seeking to fill a Right-of-Way Agent position in the beautiful mountain community of Oakhurst, California. This position is responsible for land matters including discussions with private parties and public and government agencies to obtain necessary rights-of-way, contracts, leases, and other agreements within established policies.
Ideal candidates for the Right-of-Way Agent position will have experience using technology to research property ownership, parcel numbers, easements, and create electronic maps.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. The agent will communicate with property owners and outside agencies to acquire and record easements.

REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- Three years related experience, or equivalent combination and experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the telecommunications field.
- Advanced knowledge of survey maps and land-related disciplines.
- Valid Class C California driver’s license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
- Notary certificate is a plus!

POSITION: Construction Technician II
Sierra Tel is currently seeking to fill (2) Construction Technician II positions. Qualified applicants will enjoy working outdoors, in a variety of locations, and perform all aspects of underground utility locating, marking, repairing, and installing. A typical day may include hauling equipment, locating underground utilities, plowing, trenching, directional boring, setting pedestals, or pulling fiber.
Starting pay is $28.00 to $32.00 per hour and Sierra Tel offers a generous compensation plan with 401(K) matching, health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.

REQUIREMENTS
- A High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) is
- Full-time work schedule. Hours vary with Summer Schedule and Winter Schedule. This position may require you to work overtime including weekends and evenings as
- Three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, in underground construction-related activities is
- Class C California driver’s license with a minimum of three years of driving
- Class A commercial California driver’s license with a Class A medical card valid for a minimum of two years.

POSITION: Customer Care Technical Support Associate
Sierra Tel is seeking to fill a Customer Care Technical Support Associate position in the beautiful mountain community of Oakhurst, California. Technical Support Associates are responsible for providing excellent customer service, answering and making telephone calls regarding products and services offered to our customers, and resolving complex internet connectivity issues, email trouble reports, Wi-Fi connection issues, and related software and hardware trouble reports. This position is also responsible for responding to public inquiries on the selection and availability of services and carrying out orders to establish or change services. All customer interactions must comply with industry regulations and established Company procedures for customer verification and documentation. Customer interactions are generally limited to the Internet and technical-related topics.
Ideal candidates for this position will present a professional and friendly demeanor to internal and external customers and an aptitude for diagnosing and resolving technical issues. This is an excellent opportunity with growth potential.
