POSITION:  Customer Care Associate – Entry Level

Do you possess a proven track record of excellent customer service?  Are you open to a flexible work schedule where you learn something new every day?  Do you have a technical aptitude for computers and software?  This may be the position for YOU.  Sierra Telephone is currently seeking a Customer Care Associate Trainee who can hit the ground running.  Successful candidates will have at least two years of customer service experience, above average computer literacy, a willingness to serve others, and a high degree of integrity. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) desirable.  One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Valid Class C California driver’s license with at least three unrestricted years driving experience required.  Full-time work schedule with varying shifts covering daytime, evening, overnight, weekend and holiday hours.  Overtime may be required as needed.

POSITION:  Customer Care Assistant

Are you a great organizer that multi-tasks effortlessly?  Do you work best within deadlines and a variety of duties?  If you answered “yes”, we may have the position for you.  Sierra Telephone is currently seeking a qualified Customer Care Assistant to support the department Managers, Supervisors, and Associates.   Primary responsibilities include; answering and routing in-bound calls to the proper departments for service requests, payments, and billing inquiries.  This position will also generate reports, correspondence, and presentations for the department, assemble customer packets, prepare and mail daily customer notification letters.  Additional tasks may include; ordering supplies, creating invoices, and monitoring expenses.  Mail room duties include filing, opening, and sorting mail.  The ideal candidate will also provide support to Management with projects, procedures, manuals, scheduling meetings, and transcribing minutes for department meetings.  This position requires the ability to work as a team member with the highest degree of confidentiality.  For a full job description and application, please visit our website.

POSITION:  Accounting Manager

Ponderosa Telephone is seeking an experienced individual to effectively manage and supervise our Accounting department. Must be well versed in all phases of general accounting including, but not limited to, all general ledger activity, account reconciliations, accounts payable processes, payroll requirements, employment and corporate tax requirements, cash management, budget preparation, and financial reporting. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Solid communications and leadership skills are essential for this position. Must possess a bachelor degree with an emphasis in accounting, five years accounting experience (preferably in telephony and FCC Part 32 accounting) and three years supervisory responsibilities.
