The results of Tuesday’s primary election are mostly in, and as expected for non-presidential mid-term election, turnout at the polls was very low. Only about an 18% turnout. There were no real surprises, and Governor Jerry Brown predictably came out on top in the Governor’s race and will face Republican, Neel Kaskhari in November, who beat our conservative Republican Assemblyman Tim Donnelly for second place. Although most races have been decided, several others are too close to call and may not be final for several days or weeks.
