Survey Show More Wireless Devices than Americans
According to CTIA’s Semi-Annual Survey, as of June 2011 there were more
wireless subscriber connections (322.9 million) than the population of the U.S.
and its territories (315.5 million), making the wireless penetration rate in the
U.S. 102.4%. Over the past year, wireless data traffic grew 111%, to 341 Billion
megabytes, and the number of smart phones and wireless-enabled PDAs grew 57%!

    cumulative total investment of $223 billion, which does not include monies paid
